About Us:

BCI Compliance Group, a member of APSCA, is an independent third-party auditing organization headquartered in Tainan, Taiwan, with its main operational offices in: 1/Tainan for Taiwan audits; 2/Shanghai for China audits; 3/ New Jersey, USA; 4/Saigon/HCMC for audits in Southeast Asia, specifically Vietnam, Cambodia, and Myanmar.
BCI specializes in the performance of social compliance audits based on the WRAP protocol, but it also carries out Code of Conduct audits for Virojanglor (France), and other French and American clients.
The goal of these audits, which are performed in all areas of Taiwan, Mainland China, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Myanmar, is to ensure that factories are engaged in safe, lawful, humane, and ethical production.
Though BCI is fully qualified to provide advisory services on corporate social compliance, third party audits, and related social compliance issues, it has not done so to date, nor has it any current plans to do so. Should it decide to engage in these compliance-related businesses, in order to avoid even the appearance of any conflict of interest, it would take great care to avoid performing audits on facilities to which it has provided such consulting services.

Organizational Goals, Mission, &Vision:

With the recent increase in environmental awareness, the formation of a general consciousness of corporate social responsibility, and a consensus in society at large on the need for sustainable development, more and more consumers are willing to purchase goods at a higher cost in order to protect the environment and to ensure the social compliance of manufacturing enterprises. In addition to the creation of economic value, i.e. the legitimate need to earn profits for shareholders and investors, enterprises must now also think about their impact on society and the natural environment; and with the help of an independent verification of their social responsibility, they can create social value under the consensus of sustainable development. In order to meet the requirements of such a verification enterprises are bound to pay somewhat higher labor costs in the short term, thus foregoing some of the advantages of low-cost labor. However, from a long-term perspective and with rapid socio-economic growth, the low-cost labor advantage is ultimately not sustainable. With the help of social compliance audits, enterprises can:
1. Undergo a transformation of its areas of competitive advantage;
2. Maintain the enterprise's social and brand image;
3. Help to win over the international consumer market; and
4. Maximize market share,
All of above will help enterprises achieve the goals of maximizing profits, realizing sustainable development, and ensuring that the interests of enterprises do not conflict with the concept of social compliance. In addition, social compliance audits can help reduce the risks borne by purchasers or brands in the entire supply chain procurement process, as well as allow for buyers or brands to choose factories with lower social responsibility risk. This not only protects the reputation of the buyers or brands and reduce the probability of consumer complaints and negative media attention, it also can indirectly enhance overall industrial value.

Our Guiding Principles:

To earn the trust of its clients, BCI performs audits in a manner that is absolutely impartial, so as to be able to demonstrate that its audit decisions are based solely on objective evidence.
